Creating a SalesPad

Starting a new page from a template, and managing your pages from the SalesPads list.

Creating a page

  1. Click SalesPads in the sidebar

  2. Click Create New

  3. Pick a template, or start from a blank page

  4. The editor opens with your new page

New pages are created as drafts and given the working title "Untitled Page" until you rename them.

Templates

Templates are complete pages with blocks and styling already in place. Starting from one is usually faster than building from scratch, because you're editing real content rather than deciding what to put where.

Everything in a template is editable. Swap the copy, change the colours, delete blocks you don't need, add your own. Nothing is locked.

Once you've picked a template, the page is yours. Changing your mind means starting a new page rather than switching templates underneath your edits.

The SalesPads list

The list shows every page in your team with its current status:

  • Published — live at its public URL

  • Draft — not yet live

  • Archived — retired and out of the way

From here you can open a page to edit it, visit the live URL for published pages, and delete pages you no longer want.

Renaming a page

The page title is the internal name you see in the list. It isn't what visitors see, and it isn't the URL. Change it in the editor.

The two things visitors do see are the meta title (in page settings, used by browsers and social previews) and the slug (the URL). Both are separate from the title.

Deleting a page

Deleting is permanent and can't be undone. If the page is published, its URL stops working immediately, so anything pointing at it (an ad, an email campaign, a QR code) breaks.

If you only want to take a page out of circulation, archiving is the safer option.

Who can create pages

Pages belong to the team rather than to you personally, so your teammates can see and edit them. Check your team roles if you need to control who can change what.
