Get your first booking event up and running in just a few minutes.
A SalesCal account (sign up at your SalesCal instance)
A Google account for calendar integration (recommended)
After logging in, you'll be prompted to complete your profile:
Navigate to Settings from the sidebar
Add your display name - this appears on your booking pages
Set your timezone - all availability is based on this timezone
Optionally add your company name and logo
Before creating events, define when you're available for bookings:
Go to Availability in the sidebar
Click on each day to set your working hours
For each day, set:
Start time - when you begin taking calls
End time - when you stop taking calls
Toggle days off by unchecking them
Example Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday - Sunday: Unavailable
Now create a booking event that prospects can schedule:
Go to Events in the sidebar
Click Create Event
Fill in the basic details:
Event Name: e.g., "Discovery Call"
Duration: e.g., 30 minutes
Description: Brief description shown to prospects
Click Create
Customize what information you collect from prospects:
From the event details page, go to the Form Fields section
The default fields are:
Name (required)
Email (required)
Phone (optional)
Add custom fields by clicking Add Field:
Choose field type (text, dropdown, radio, etc.)
Set the label and placeholder text
Mark as required or optional
Your event now has a shareable booking link:
From the event details, copy your Booking URL
The format is: yourdomain.com/book/[your-user-id]/[event-slug]
Share this link via:
Email signatures
Social media profiles
Your website
Direct messages
Before sharing with real prospects:
Open your booking link in an incognito/private browser window
Fill out the form as a test prospect would
Select an available time slot
Complete the booking
Check that:
The meeting appears in your Meetings page
The lead appears in your Leads page
A calendar event was created (if Google Calendar connected)

Check that your Availability is configured for the days prospects are trying to book
Verify your event's minimum booking notice isn't blocking near-term slots
Ensure the maximum advance booking window includes the dates being viewed
Verify your Google Calendar is connected in Settings > Integrations
Check that the calendar sync is enabled for the specific event
Ensure all required fields are filled out
Check for validation errors highlighted on the form
